Book Corner: Pattern Magic

A few months ago I purchased a book called Pattern Magic by Tomoko Nakamichi. I purchased it the moment realized that it was translated into English. I was ready to by a Japanese copy in J-town.


I have to say that it was everything I expected. I wouldn't use this as a basic pattern drafting book. Nor would I say that I find the designs to my taste. But the challenge of the designs and breakdown of how to approach each design is wonderful.

If you enjoy pattern drafting and puzzles then I would recommend this book to you.
